BEQUEST DELTA

A legacy or bequest in your will would enable Delta Society Australia to extend and maintain our programs all over Australia. Currently we are only able to meet a fraction of the growing demand for Pet Partner teams to visit sick children, frail aged and disabled residents in supported care - in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, and other institutions. We simply do not have the funds to employ the field managers necessary to coordinate our volunteer programs in every State.

At the same time there is an ever increasing demand for community programs, including the Delta Dog Safe strategy - teaching children and their parents safe and protective behaviour around mans best friend.

There are three ways to give through your will:

Residue: a gift of whatever property or assets remain after the other bequests have been fulfilled.

Fixed amount: the most common type of bequest but not always the best if there is a high inflation rate. Of course the amount can be changed over the years.

Percentage: the most flexible way. It automatically changes with the size of the estate.
